Lesson 1: Practice is the ONLY way I'm going to improve. I can stare at other work and want as badly as I can to be that good but it won't help. I CAN be that good, but practice is the only way to get there.
Lesson 2: There is a very big difference between wanting to learn and improve my work and being completely obsessed with perfection. I will always strive to better my work but it should never get in the way of enjoying doing art. (My obsession with perfection was dragging me down so much that I practically gave up on my art for two years)
Lesson 3: It's ok not to be perfect. It's ok if it's not totally realistic. It's ok if I still have a lot to learn.
Lesson 4: Rome wasn't built in a day. I can take as long as I want to finish a piece. I don't have to complete everything the same day that I start it.
So ya, I'm in a MUCH better place now with my art than I was before. I'm learning to relax and take my time and just plain have fun with art again.

I believe thrones are generally more decorative. That is decidedly plain, and chair-like.

Why? Why do humans always look to the sky? Why do you try so hard to fly when you don't have any wings? We'll run on our own legs. - Kiba
